Dr Chohan was born in Kimberley and grew up in the city of Pietermaritzburg. After completing her matric, she went on to pursue a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at The University Of The Western Cape. She thereafter completed her community service in a small dorpie Christiana located in the North West province.
After getting married (her husband is also a dentist) she moved to Durban and joined The Smile Emporium where she worked alongside Dr Sheryl Smithies until she decided to pursue her dream of opening up her own practice – The Dental Suite.
Dr Chohan is kind, friendly and passionate about her job. Seeing her patients smile is what motivates her on a daily.
She has completed a basic implantology course through The Implant and Aesthetic Academy under Dr Howard Gluckman and is currently furthering her studies by doing a post graduate diploma in maxillofacial and oral surgery at The University of the Western Cape.
When asked to describe her, her patients chose the words “gentle”, “caring” and “best dentist ever”.
When she’s not trying to save the world one smile at a time, Dr Chohan enjoys spending time with family and friends, keeping fit and baking.
